Let your Senators know that you and 31,478 scientists don't believe in man-made global warming, and that passing Cap and Trade would "harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind".

Elmer, How come you are not linking to the hockey stick controversy coming out of England, where it appears it is now proven that that hockey stick is man-made.... not climate change.

I would if I could find one coherent article on the issue. Don't get me wrong, I love those guys at Wattsupwiththat.com but writing an article in layman's terms is hard for them. And if I don't understand what they're saying, I don't post it.

I am trying to do research myself and write an article that makes sense. If you know of some good resources let me know.

Here is my question.

What the heck does this chart mean?

Here is the original source

Was it tree ring data and than instrument data?
And if you just use the tree ring data through the 20th century it is flat?

Yes, After I posted that question, I checked realclimate and they were unimpressed, saying it's based on much more than tree ring data.

I think the problem is that the instrumentation available is always changing and it's hard for anyone to correct for that.

But the sun still sleeps and two back-to-back frigid winters should start waking them up out of their AGW delirium.

Well here is my lame attempt to put into layman's terms the Hockey Stick Chart's recent revelations.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
